‘Hecate Rising’ is an award winning film which explores some of the traditions associated with Samhain, also known as Halloween.

Based around an interactive performance come ritual, ‘Hecate Rising ‘ takes the audience on journey to meet the witches from MacBeth, the Mexican Day of the Dead and ultimately to meet Papa Legba and the Lord of the Dead himself, Baron Samedi.

The audience are invited to participate in the performance and dance with the dead, share a drink with them and make their wishes for the New Year.

In 2008, ‘Hecate Rising’ was awarded the Rick Gibson Memorial Award
